LEASE END INSPECTIONS
We have the knowledge and training to properly identify and assess vehicle condition including documentation of prior damage. Canavan’s has a database of vehicles that have been appraised by our staff for insurance claims. All inspectors take a minimum of two courses per year on identifying damage and repair to ensure repairs meet industry standards. The majority of these assignments are sent to us through AutoVIN field services.
WARRANTY / MECHANICAL INSPECTIONS
We have been providing warranty inspections for many years and have the people and technology to provide a professional report.
REPAIRED SALVAGE INSPECTIONS
We can inspect a vehicle that has been involved in an accident and was branded Salvage Rebuildable and then repaired. We can determine if it is a quality safe repair that meets industry acceptable repair standards. This is extremely important for the safety of the motoring public.
COLLISION DATA COLLECTION SERVICES
We can inspect a vehicle that was involved in an accident and collect the impact data that is required by a forensic engineer to determine the force of the impact. This data can then be interpreted by specialty engineering firms such as Contrast Engineering.
THEFT - RECOVERED OR UNRECOVERED
We have the knowledge to inspect recovered stolen vehicles or equipment in order to ensure that all theft related damage is documented correctly. Our appraisers collect data on the unrecovered and recovered vehicles or equipment to provide a value according to all information received and collected.
OLD AND NEW VEHICLE INSPECTIONS
We have the knowledge and resources to provide an accurate value on your vehicle or equipment.
FIRE INSPECTIONS
Our appraisers have the knowledge to determine the cause of the fire whenever possible. We also work with forensic engineers to determine the cause of the loss when necessary.

Canavan’s has appraisers located all over Atlantic Canada and we work very closely with other appraisal companies throughout Canada and the USA. This allows our CAT team to provide help in the event of a major loss (CAT).
RE-INSPECTIONS (DURING OR AFTER THE REPAIR)
There are companies that require re-inspections during or after the repair and we have the staff to perform and report on such an inspection.
